The kanji 点 means spot, point, mark, speck, decimal point. Its on’yomi (Chinese-derived reading) is テン (ten); its kun’yomi (native Japanese reading) is つ.ける、つ.く、た.てる、さ.す、とぼ.す、とも.す、ぼち (tsukeru, tsuku, tateru, sasu, tobosu, tomosu, bochi). It is written with 9 strokes, under radical 火 (no. 86).
