Search Japanese words in English, kanji, hiragana, katakana or romaji. Every entry has its reading, meanings, real example sentences and, for verbs and adjectives, a conjugation table.
How to use it
- Type an English word (“study”), the kana reading (べんきょう), romaji (benkyou or benkyō) or the kanji (勉強).
- Results show the JLPT level; open a word for meanings, example sentences and conjugations.
- The dictionary covers 7,934 words from the JLPT N5–N1 lists, with definitions from JMdict. For rarer words, try Jisho.
