The kanji 濫 means excessive, overflow, spread out. Its on’yomi (Chinese-derived reading) is ラン (ran); its kun’yomi (native Japanese reading) is みだ.りに、みだ.りがましい (midarini, midarigamashii). It is written with 18 strokes, under radical 水 (no. 85).
